The RAP Series is a single-acting pull cylinder with an aluminum body. It retracts under pressure to pull, and a spring returns it.
Durapac builds it for structural steel work, shipbuilding and tower tensioning, where a crew is carrying the cylinder to the job. Four models cover 10 to 50 ton, all with 5.91 in of stroke.
The piston rod is hard chrome steel and the piston bearing area has a bronze overlay. Remove the clevis eyes and the body and rod threads are free for other attachments.
