The RSLC Series is a single-acting, load-return cylinder with a threaded piston rod and lock ring. Once the ring is run down against the cylinder body, the load is held mechanically instead of by hydraulic pressure.
That is what you want for bridge work and heavy jacking where a load has to sit for a long time. Capacities run from 50 to 1,000 ton.
The bore is hard chrome plated and the rod and lock ring carry a wear-resistant coating. Every model has an oil overflow port that limits stroke, and hardened removable load caps are standard.
